SUMMARY:Clinical Text De-identification Hackathon
DESCRIPTION:A focused 2-day hackathon on clinical text de-identification will be held in Manchester\, UK on the 17-18th of November. Building on a set of established algorithms such as ChristieDEID and ElasticGazetteer we aim to extend current requirements\, design\, and development. This community-driven event will work towards releasing a robust and scalable open source software for clinical text de-identification.\n\nWe encourage researchers\, developers\, and natural language processing engineers to apply to join this event by sending us a statement of motivation and CV to contact@healtex.org. We aim to fund travel\, sleeping bags :) and food expenses. This event will be restricted to 4-5 participants.
