Veterinary Text Mining Workshop

November 25, 2016 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

This workshop has two aims

  • present the state of the art in processing free-text in veterinary electronic health records, and
  • establish a special interest group that will work together on improving the capabilities for making sense of veterinary free-text.

The event follows the discussions at the Farr@Vet inaugural meeting (April 2016) and two veterinary text mining bootcamp events organised by Jenny Newman from the University of Liverpool. The workshop will be held in Nottingham and is co-organised by the Centre for Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine @ Nottingham, SAVSNET and Healtex.
